What Does Laser Pigmentation Removal Involve?
The treatment involves safely and effectively reducing the appearance of freckles, pigmentation and post-trauma pigmentation, also including acne scars and age spots.
It only targets the pigmented lesion in the skin which absorbs the light, without damaging the surrounding skin.
There are many reasons why people have pigmentation on their skin. Some people get to an age and become very conscious of it, especially if it is on their face. Over time it can become quite dark and obvious so they want to have it removed.
Procedure Aftercare
- Immediately after your procedure, we suggest using a post treatment balm to keep the area soothed and use cold packs for any discomfort or swelling.
- You can also take over the counter pain medication.
- Make sure you avoid the sun. The areas may scab or blister and can take up to 7-10 days to heal.
- Also avoid using AHA, BHA or Vitamin A products.
