Full facial rejuvenation may be achieved by a combination of treatments to create a solution to sun exposure effects and the ageing process.
This combination may assist with skin laxity, skin volume loss, expression line formation and wrinkles as well as skin pigmentation (brown spots) and sun spots.
This treatment protocol is followed up with application of specific skin care products recommended. These issues are addressed using non-surgical techniques in consultation with Dr Watson.
Skin laxity and skin volume loss in the face and lips may be treated with a combination of laser treatments and dermal fillers. Using dermal fillers it is possible to enhance and balance specific areas of the face. If there is asymmetry or scarring a filler may be an appropriate option.
Laser stimulation of collagen at the dermal level gradually improves skin laxity, by producing a skin tightening effect. Expression line formation and wrinkles may be treated with a combination of laser treatments and anti-wrinkle injections. The most common areas treated with anti-wrinkle injections are the crow’s feet, frown lines and forehead lines.
Wrinkles, skin pigmentation and sun spots are treated specifically with the Medlite C6 Q-switched Nd:Yag laser, over a series of sessions. Brown spots or pigmentation attract the wavelength emitted by this laser, which specifically helps remove the pigmentation whilst causing minimal changes to the surrounding normal skin.
Balance is the key to full facial rejuvenation, for this reason the combination of treatments is recommended.
