Usually a one-off procedure, however some moles have a deep element and can recur, therefore, a repeat procedure may be required. It is usually possible to return to work immediately following the procedure and the wound will heal within one to four weeks, leaving a flat layer of new skin that gradually blends into the normal skin colour.
What results can you expect? Skin tissue with little or no scarring. Excellent permanent results, as there are no cuts or stitches. As only the lesion itself is removed there is very little damage to the surrounding tissue allowing rapid healing and minimizing the risk of scarring.
