Have you been wondering what makes a COVID Safe Cosmetic Clinic? Here at Define Laser, we want to assure total peace of mind for all of our patients, we are taking every measure required to ensure our clinic is safe for everyone who visits.

Safe steps we are taking

At our clinic, your safety and wellbeing is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, we are following a number of important steps:

Your temperature will be taken upon entering the clinic. As long as your temperature is not 38 degrees or over, we will go ahead with your treatment.

Each patient is required to answer all COVID questions, otherwise treatment may be unavailable. We will ask:
- Have you had a sore throat, dry cough, persistent muscle aches or a fever in the last 14 days?
- In the last 14 days, have you been exposed to anyone with known COVID19?
- Have you travelled interstate or overseas in the last 14 days?

We strongly advise that antibacterial hand sanitiser is to be used both when entering and leaving the clinic. Hand sanitiser is provided and can be found on the reception desk located at the front of the clinic.

If you are sensitive to hand sanitisers, we unfortunately do not have an alternative available. Therefore we highly recommend you provide your own if you suspect you may have a reaction.

Treatments and Procedures

If you are coming in for a treatment or procedure, in keeping with proper restrictions, there will be only one patient per clinic room. We have two treatment rooms, so at any one time in the clinic, we will only allow 5 people – Dr Lindsay Watson, the receptionist, one patient being treated with a patient waiting in the second treatment room and another patient in the reception area. If there is already a patient in the reception area when you arrive, we would ask that you please wait outside until the reception area is clear.

All of our staff will be also be wearing medical masks and gloves.

If having a facial treatment, the whole face must be washed prior to treatment. Your face does not need to be washed at home (you can do this if you prefer), but we will still get you to clean your face here at the clinic. We offer Cetaphil cleanser and paper towels which can be thrown away.

Clinic Cleaning

The clinic is frequently cleaned throughout the day.

Our reception desk is wiped down after every patient has left the counter.
Rooms are cleaned after each patient and wiped down with hospital grade disinfectant.
The whole reception area, including chairs are wiped down after every patient has left area.
