Needling RF: How does it work?

How long does RF skin needling take?
Treatment time is anywhere from 30 – 90 minutes and is tolerable. You will feel some heat and pressure, however, in your free consultation with Dr Watson, he will discuss your options of numbing cream and some mild pain relief prior.
What to expect after RF micro-needling…
Post treatment there is initial redness, and the skin will look very irritated, which will calm down after 24 hours. For some people, it can take longer, but the majority are back too normal after 48 hours and complete recovery is around one week.
Make-up may be applied 24 hours after the procedure to cover any redness, however, we do recommend using a mineral make-up.
RF Micro-needling results…
Due to the RF energy being delivered so deeply, it produces faster and more dramatic results in overall skin rejuvenation. The results can be seen within days of the treatment and your body will continue to rebuild collagen for weeks after.
For optimal results, you will need 2- 3 treatments over a 3-month period and the results could last for years.
