Define Laser are proud to offer dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections for men. Our industry leading, GP led cosmetic clinic treats both male and female patients using state-of-the-art machines.
Wrinkles don’t discriminate. They are inevitable for each and every one of us as the amount of collagen and elastin in the skin decreases over time.
But the good news is there’s no need for invasive surgery to obtain a more youthful appearance. Fillers and anti-wrinkle injections can be a discreet option.
Our dermal fillers for men are gaining popularity each year. Many of our clients commonly use fillers and anti-wrinkle injections to rejuvenate their face and target the forehead, crow’s feet and frown lines.
Dermal Fillers Treatment Details
At Define Laser and Cosmetic Clinic we only use non-permanent dermal fillers to add volume to the face and enhance its shape.
We can apply a topic local anaesthetic cream or nerve block before injecting the filler, to minimise discomfort and pain. Other pain relief options can be discussed if necessary.
The temporary fillers used by Dr Watson largely consist of a natural substance called hyaluronate. You may experience their effects for between 6 and 12 months.
Dermal fillers can be used in conjunction with other treatments for added benefit.
What does the treatment involve?
Our qualified doctor uses an ultra-fine needle to inject a small amount of dermal filler into the skin. Fillers aim to restore shape and give treated areas a fuller appearance, smoothing out lines and wrinkles.
Does the treatment hurt?
The comfort of our clients is our priority, which is why we include an anaesthetic with most dermal fillers. We can discuss pain relief options prior to your treatment.
How long does the treatment take?
Typically, the procedure takes around half an hour, however this time is dependent on the areas being treated.
How quickly will I see results?
You can expect to see results immediately after your procedure.
How long do results last?
The effects of the treatment are expected to last between 6 to 12 months. They do fade gradually over time.
Are there side effects of the treatment?
You may experience some temporary side effects which could include redness, swelling bruising and transient lumps.
Pre and Post Treatme
Before any dermal fillers are injected, we will have an initial consultation where we will review your medial history and discuss what the treatment involves.
We recommend avoiding intense exercise after your treatment.
While you may experience some temporary side effects, such as swelling and redness, these will subside quickly.
Anti-Wrinkle Treatment Details
The Anti-wrinkle injections used by the qualified team at Define Laser and Cosmetic Clinic are composed of a natural, purified protein. During the treatment a number of small injections are given, which work to relax the muscle and stop it from contracting and forming wrinkles.
These effects aren’t seen straight away. Instead, it can take between 1 to 2 weeks for the impacts to be realised. These effects typically last between 3 and 4 months.
Opting for regular anti-wrinkle treatments may halt skin lines from progressing.
Facial wrinkles and loss of skin volume can be treated with a combination of anti-wrinkle injections, as well as dermal fillers and or laser treatments.
What does the treatment involve?
We administer a small number of injections to the treatment area, in a bid to combat wrinkles and reinvigorate the skin. The injectables we use encourage the growth of collagen.
The needles used are very fine, and most people experience very little discomfort
How do I avoid a frozen face?
At Define Laser and Cosmetic Clinic we stick to the rule ‘less is more’ when it comes to anti-wrinkle injections, to ensure our customers – both male and female – maintain a natural look.
Is there any downtime?
Some people may experience some slight bruising or swelling as a result of the needle.
While there is no downtime required, it is best to avoid exercising the area for the 24 hours following the treatment.
Pre and Post Treatment
A consultation will take place with our qualified doctor prior to any procedure being carried out.
Vitamin supplements and alcohol should be avoided in the days leading up to the treatment.
Some clients might experience a mild headache, swelling or soreness following the injections, however many people experience no symptoms afterwards.
